By default configuration as listed below, this is a 6 core AMD rocker!! This can be a great rig to pick up inexpensively with lot's of room to grow, or as a tricked out screaming six core low latency monster! This comes stock in a compact minimal depth 4 space rack case, but can also be offered in a desktop case or a full depth 4U Rack case. It can be customized with up to 32GB of memory and a wide variety of media drives or raid arrays. Stock it is very quiet. More than quiet enough for most control rooms. However the basic video card does use a fan that creates a very small amount of noise. For a quieter system I recommend the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 295 video card without a fan which you will find in the options below. For the quietest system we build, choose a video card with no fan in the pull down list, the "near silent" option, and one of our Desktop Cases. This add's water cooling, and because of the physics of it, is not currently available in a rack mount case (ask me though... I am always experimenting). So this system is for the AMD fan that wants a rock solid DAW that can handle a lot at low latency, and do those monster mixes at higher buffer settings. It's got a lot of expansion, and room to grow (can hold up to 9 hard drives!) Keep in mind when configuring, that without adding a additional raid card, the maximum number of drives is 5. Raid configurations listed below, state how many drives they require... just keep your total under 5, or e-mail me for options. :)
