This system includes all the latest from Intel (including Sandy Bridge processors!), and is highly configurable!  These systems also can be a great low price intro level system with good low latency performance for midi and audio tracking, or full blown 6 core i7, no comprises beast!   In most cases these days, for those that want the fastest system you can buy we even recommend the 6 Core i7 system over the Dual Socket CGR 3v4!   There is just tons of power at low latency, and at higher buffer settings for monster mixes!  It comes stock in a compact minimal depth 4 space rack case, but can also be offered in a desktop case or a full depth 4U Rack case.   It can be customized with up to 24GB of memory and a wide variety of media drives or raid arrays.   

Stock it is very quiet.  More than quiet enough for most control rooms.  However the basic video card does use a fan that creates a very small amount of noise.    For a quieter system I recommend the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 295 video card without a fan which you will find in the options below.  For the quietest system we build, choose the "near silent" option, one of the fanless video cards, and one of our Desktop Cases ("D" is recommend for the most silent).   This add's water cooling, and because of the physics of it, is not currently available in a rack mount case (ask me though... I am always experimenting).    So this system is for anyone that wants the fastest DAW, that is rock solid, can handle a lot at low latency; and also do those monster mixes at higher buffer settings.  It's got a lot of expansion, and room to grow (can hold up to 9 hard drives!)   Keep in mind when configuring, that without adding a additional raid card, the maximum number of drives is 5 on the 1366 systems and 6 on the 1155 systems.  Raid configurations listed below, state how many drives they require... just keep your total under 5 (1155) or 6 (1366), or e-mail me for options.   :)
