Cryptic Globe Recording has been building Custom DAW systems for almost 7 years now.   We put DAW systems and or full studio upgrades in for Artists and Producers like Michael Wagener, Joey Miskulin, Sawyer Brown, Jon Vezner/Kathy Mattea, Mick Conley, Steve Bishir/Brown Bannister, Kyle Lee, Tom Snider, Bryan Lenox, and many more!

For years we have specialized in custom "one-off" computers for music professionals, and hobbyists that wanted the VERY best digital audio workstation to record their music with.    Business has grown significantly over the years and to meet the additional demand we have created full line of base model computers that can be customized right here on our website.   We still offer additional configurations and can create anything known to man, but experience has shown us that today most customers will find what that need in our 7 base configurations.

Here at Cryptic Globe, we like to keep a positive spin on things so instead of telling you why you shouldn't buy from one of the competitors, we like to talk about why you SHOULD buy from us.

• Steve Lamm, owner and chief DAW builder is a working musician and Grammy winning producer/engineer himself.   He uses the rigs we sell in his own work, and each configuration is put through the "ringer" here at CGR before it is offered for sale to insure your system WILL be rock solid and do what you bought it to do.  Each system sold is also carefully burn tested before shipment to insure quality.  
• We aren't the cheapest, because we use high quality, time-tested parts.   We don't skimp here.   You definitely will however get the best "bang for the buck" with us when it comes to performance and reliability for the buck!
• We have lot's of experience with audio hardware.   We own/use many of the leading Audio Hardware devices... like Lynx, RME, M-Audio, Universal Audio UAD-2, etc.   We can assure you that your computer WILL work with your hardware
• We sell ALL the accessories/additional components you might need.   Ask us about a custom package price that can include software, hardware, anything you need from Plug-in's to the highest of high end gear!  One stop shopping!
• Outstanding support.   We pride ourselves in preparing you upfront for what you will get, and find our customers rarely have issues upon the delivery of their system.     You will get all your questions answered up front, and if you have follow up questions, we are here for you!

When you place an order, it generally takes 7 working days to build and ship your custom DAW, though it can be done more quickly for a slight upcharge.   We are still a small shop... no mass production here!   Every system is lovingly built by hand with careful attention to asthetics.   We do require full payment up front to take an order, and we accept all major credits cards.
