Production
It is an exciting process to take a good song and make it great, or take a great song and just be true to it! The combination of technical skills, a connection to the music that you must allow yourself to have, a relationship with the song writer/performer, and just sheer creativity is what it takes. In my years in this business, I have discovered that just about any song/project/artist can benefit greatly from production help. As an artist myself, I have seen it first hand... when a great producer with a different perspective from my own can guide things along... the overall quality of the project jumps dramatically! And I learn a lot! I love providing that same service to other artists too!
So, if you want a Grammy Award winning Producer/Engineer to help you get your project into the "best it can be" catagory... just drop me an e-mail. I can customize rates based on what your needs are, help you find/provide studio time, players, etc. To check out some samples, click here:
Mixing
A great recording really comes together into an amazing final product with a thoughtfully, skillfully done mix. Having great sounding gear, a real ear for the song, and a lot of experience really makes the difference. This is one of my favorite tasks in the music making process! My rate is is $550 per song for label supported projects, and $350.00 per song for independents. Package prices are available, and I do occasionally offer special discounts for truly "starving artists".... been there, done that myself. :) E-mail me for more information, and you can check out some samples here:
Engineering
This is where I started! After I learned to play guitar, I wanted to learn how to make it sound amazing on recordings. Then I wanted to learn how to make the whole band sound amazing... and off I went to learn as much as I could! 22 years later, I do have a pretty good sized bag of tricks! :) I can come in and just help you get sounds, or stay through you whole project. Rates vary depending the situation. E-mail me for more information, and you can check out some samples here:
